Were looking for a seasoned and proactive Shift Manager (HV Electrical) to lead a dedicated engineering team in a highly critical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead a team of engineers across a 24/7 shift rota, ensuring smooth and compliant operation.Carry out and supervise maintenance and fault rectification on critical plant and systems.Oversee the safe and efficient delivery of works through the Permit to Work and Risk Assessment processes.Monitor and control the BMS to maintain optimal environmental conditions.Liaise directly with the client, maintaining strong working relationships and professional communication.Ensure documentation is up to date including job sheets, compliance logs, handovers, and incident reports.Train, mentor, and conduct annual reviews for shift engineers.Manage sub-contractors on site, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met.Provide holiday and sickness cover for team members, sometimes at short notice.RequirementsHV Electrical Qualification and ability to obtain/maintain Authorised Person status.Solid background in building services within critical environments (e.g., data centres, hospitals).Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and PTW systems.Experience in leading shift teams and overseeing third-party contractors.Strong communication and leadership skills.Familiarity with Computer-Based Maintenance Systems (e.g., SI or similar).Flexibility to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.What Youll GetThe opportunity to work in a high-profile, mission-critical environment.A team-oriented culture with strong emphasis on training and development.A competitive salary and shift allowance.Access to ongoing technical training and development plans.This role is ideal for:Experienced HV Engineers ready to take on more responsibility.Shift Leads or Supervisors looking to step up in a critical environment.Professionals who thrive under pressure and take pride in delivering operational excellence.APPLY NOW!!
