This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer with at least one year of post-qualification experience to join a growing practice acting on a wide range of complex and high-profile construction matters.The firms Construction team advises both private and public sector clients, including developers, local authorities, healthcare providers, education institutions, contractors and consultants. The work spans multiple sectors such as commercial development, transport, health, student accommodation, utilities, housebuilding, and manufacturing.This role offers exposure to both contentious and non-contentious construction matters, as well as excellent opportunities for long-term progression and professional development.What you will be doingManaging a caseload of construction matters, both contentious and non-contentiousAssisting senior colleagues with complex disputes and contract advisory workDrafting construction contracts, agreements, pleadings, witness statements and correspondenceAdvising clients on construction risk management, dispute avoidance and resolution strategiesHandling adjudication, mediation and other dispute resolution processesContributing to client relationships and business development initiativesMeeting financial and chargeable targets while maintaining excellent quality of serviceWorking in line with firm policies and valuesWhat we are looking forQualified solicitor with 1 or more years post-qualification experiencePrior experience in construction law is preferred, but strong commercial litigation or real estate experience will also be consideredTechnically sound with strong drafting and analytical skillsExcellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlinesStrong team player with effective communication skillsProficient in using legal IT systems and Microsoft OfficeFlexible, committed and motivated to develop within a leading national practiceWhy consider this roleJoin a highly respected national team consistently ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers UKWork on a broad mix of construction matters across major sectors and clientsBenefit from tailored training, support and a clear path for career progressionBe part of an innovative and people-focused law firm with a collaborative cultureAccess to bonus schemes and flexible working arrangementsInterested?Please get in touch for more information or to apply by sending your CV to sarah@re-culture.co.uk
