With an established team, a strong client base, and a platform generating over 2m in fees, the ambition now is to scale this to 5m and beyond.As Head of Building Surveying, you will be responsible for driving this growth, building on solid foundations while developing new client relationships, leading strategic initiatives, and enhancing delivery excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires someone who is hungry, commercial, and entrepreneurial. You will need to be as comfortable pitching for new business as you are developing your team and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.Youll work closely with the UK Managing Director and other business line leaders to align your growth strategy with national objectives and play a key role in the leadership of the wider business.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Leadership:Lead and grow the UK Building Surveying team, owning the P&L and setting the direction for growth and performance.Client Development:Build and expand key client relationships, identifying and winning new opportunities across core sectors.Operational Oversight:Drive delivery excellence, commercial performance, and team efficiency across all projects and clients.Strategic Alignment:Work collaboratively with national leadership to align strategy, share best practice, and contribute to the broader business vision.Team Leadership:Inspire and develop the existing team, ensuring high levels of engagement, capability, and performance.Brand Ambassador:Act as an ambassador for the business in the market, building brand visibility and reinforcing its reputation for quality and innovation.Ideal Candidate ProfileProven track record in leading and scaling a high-performing building surveying business or teamStrong business development skills and ability to grow fee income from an established baseEntrepreneurial mindset with a hunger to build something significantExcellent commercial acumen and client relationship skillsDeep knowledge of the London property and construction sectorNatural leader who can inspire teams and build trustMRICS qualified (or equivalent) preferredThe PackageHighly competitive base salary, bonus and equity participationOpportunity to be part of a transformative growth story in a market-leading consultancyLeadership of a major service offer with autonomy and influenceWhy Join?This is a pivotal leadership role in a growing business with ambition.
