Our leadership style is hands-on and empowering, fostering an environment where every team members input is valued.If you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.About the RoleWe are looking for experienced tutors and teachers to tutor Maths GCSE & A-level students. The teaching will take place online and range from 1 to 4 students in a session. You will be expected to create and plan your sessions based on the students' requirements. You must hold a current teaching qualification.The role is flexible and you get to decide your hours, although we are looking for people who are willing to teach two evenings per week between the hours of 4 pm & 8 pm. There will be opportunities to work outside of these hours as well, including weekends if preferred.As you would be part of a new small team of tutors who are employed directly by Tutorful, there would be an opportunity for you to help shape how the team works and grows going forward.This role will start from mid-August, ready for the new school term in SeptemberKey ResponsibilitiesCreate & plan lessons based on the individual students' needs and in line with the national curriculumConduct introduction calls with potential parents to understand their child's needsWork closely with the Tutorful support team to manage lessons and communicate with parents and studentsRespond quickly and professionally to offers of work both from Tutorful and studentsBe punctual, prepared and dependableWhat we are looking forQualified teacher statusMinimum of 1 year teaching maths in a classroom settingIn-depth subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum at GCSE & A-level for mathsHold a clean, Enhanced DBS Check dated in the last 2 years, or be registered on the update serviceAble to teach 2 evenings a week (Mon-Thur) between the hours of 4pm & 8pmHave the right to work in the UKWhat we offer Fixed term contract first 3 months, with an option to move into a salaried role afterCompetitive rate of pay - depending on experienceHoliday PayFlexible working hoursBe part of a pilot programme and new initiatives.
