We are currently seeking an interim Laboratory Coordinator, to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment. This is a full-time temporary role to run for 12 months, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to 29,719 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience. Due to the urgency of this role, we cannot accept any applications from candidate with more than 1 weeks notice.Role overview: Coordination and preparation of fragrance evaluations on behalf of the HC Fragrance Team, ensuring standard and safe operating practices.Duties include:CoordinationWork closely with the Fragrance experts to plan for upcoming fragrance evaluation requirements for projects. Book washing machines/ booths/lab space, prepare test cloths and wash loads, order/ chase samples from project teams/ perfume houses. Ensure all assessors/ project teams are invited to and can attend the appropriate assessmentsMaintain the appropriate stock for ballast loads and monitors, ordering when required.Maintain the benchmark library of products, keeping up to date by ordering new products and disposing of old products. Register products in data base.Maintain the fragrance oil library keeping up to date by ordering new oils and disposing of old oils.
