The successful candidate will support the development of new products within the Industrial Inkjet sector, while contributing to testing, compliance, and technical support processes. This is an ideal role for someone with a background in formulation or laboratory work, who is looking to grow their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development of new products for the Industrial Inkjet market in line with strategic goalsConduct formulation work on new and existing productsPerform application testing, maintain laboratory equipment, and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs)Manage day-to-day laboratory tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environmentTroubleshoot and resolve technical challenges using scientific knowledgeCommunicate project updates to internal teams and stakeholdersCollaborate with internal and external customers to support product implementationEnsure compliance with internal product and safety standardsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the R&D departmentRequired Qualifications & Experience:Practical experience working in a formulation or scientific laboratory environment, ideally with aqueous systemsMinimum of 5 GCSEs (grades A -C / 4+), including science subjectsA Levels in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or a related discipline (a science-related degree is desirable but not essential)Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesSelf-motivated, responsible, and receptive to feedbackA positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and developBenefits:Company pension scheme26 days holiday (increasing with length of service)Cycle to Work schemeFlexible working arrangementsOngoing training and development opportunitiesAccess to retail discounts and employee savings programs
