Procurement Specialist (Contract – Outside IR35)Location: Oxford (Hybrid options available)Contract: 3 monthsDay Rate: Competitive, based on experienceI'm working with a manufacturing company in Oxford that’s looking for a Procurement Specialist to join them on a 3-month contract. This role sits within their Supply Chain team and reports into the Head of Supply Chain. The position is outside IR35.What you’ll be doing:Sourcing and evaluating suppliersManaging vendor relationshipsNegotiating contracts, pricing, and termsHandling purchase orders and invoice reconciliationsTracking supplier performance and resolving issuesKeeping procurement records up to dateSupporting internal teams with procurement needsMaking sure procurement processes meet company and industry standardsIdentifying cost-saving opportunitiesWhat they’re looking for:2–5 years’ experience in procurement or supply chainStrong negotiation and communication skillsGood with Excel and Microsoft OfficeExperience using ERP systems, ideally SAGEOrganised, analytical, and good at problem-solvingFamiliar with procurement regulations and best practicesBonus if you have:CIPS, CPSM or PMP certificationExperience in manufacturing
