As the Warehouse Lead you will be responsible for the hardgoods division to serve customers, take customer orders, deliver goods to customers and maintain the warehouse stock.Take and process sales orders from customersDelivery of goods to customersPicking & packing ordersProcess and record goods in accuratelyStore and organise warehouse stock and arrange in store merchandiseBe responsible for effecting an efficient and satisfactory delivery service to internal (branch) customers and external customersMaintain the branch price file, office catalogue library and product literaturePromote and actively ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the office, stores and trade counterGoods purchasing under the direction of the Branch ManagerProcess cash and card payments over the counter securely and responsiblyTake initiative by informing regular customers of new products or services and price changesListen to and resolve customers' complaints regarding products or servicesAnswer customers' questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandise selectionBe instrumental in accurate and timely stock countsAnswer telephones to provide information and receive ordersProvide information about items, such as availability, operation or descriptionRequired Qualifications And CompetenciesRequired Qualifications And CompetenciesAre you a MatchA full, clean UK driving licencePrevious experience within a warehouse roleDemonstrated ability of working within a fast paced environment, maintaining high levels of customer serviceKnowledge of engineering and welding processes and requirements is advantageous but not essential as full training will be givenA working knowledge of the health and safety requirements of the HASAW ActKnowledge of ISO9002 is desirable but not essential as training will be given
