Spencer Ogden has a Outside iR35 Contract starting ASAP for a Onshore Wind Farm Construction Site Manger.Job Title: Site Manager (Wind Energy Sector)Location: South Ayrshire & Lanarkshire, ScotlandContract Type: Freelance/ContractDuration: Minimum 6 months (likely extension to 12+ months)Start Date: ASAPWork Pattern: 3 weeks on / 1 week off (Monday to Saturday), 10-hour daysPay Rate: Outside IR35- Up to £450 - £550/day inclusive of travel and – Negotiable depending on experience and vehicle access.Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Manager to oversee onshore wind farm installation project in South Ayrshire and Lanarkshire. The role requires immediate availability and a flexible, hands-on approach. Candidates must be capable of hitting the ground running and managing site operations effectively from day one.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily site activities, ensuring health, safety, and environmental complianceCoordinate subcontractors and site teams to meet project milestonesMaintain accurate site records, reports, and communication with project stakeholdersEnforce quality standards and ensure compliance with client and industry expectationsLiaise with the project management team to resolve on-site issues promptlyTravel between South Ayrshire and Lanarkshire as requiredRequirements:Valid CSCS Black CardGWO (Global Wind Organisation) certificationsProven experience managing wind energy projects; Nordex turbine experience is a significant advantageStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsFull UK driving licence4x4 vehicle requiredDesirable:Open to experienced Site Supervisors looking to step into a Site Manager role, provided they can quickly adapt and take ownership on-siteFamiliarity with Scottish terrain and weather conditions
