We are now seeking a knowledgeable and highly motivated Meteorological Solutions Specialist to join our expanding commercial team.This is a great opportunity to become an important part of one of the fastest growing commercial weather forecasting companies in the world. Job Title – Meteorological Solutions SpecialistWe have an exciting opportunity to join a well-established commercial team to manage to grow our business internationally. This is a very exciting time for the company and there are ambitious growth plans, which the successful candidate will be a big part of. MetDesk offers a competitive salary package based on experience, an attractive earning potential and company profit-share scheme. The RoleManagement of an existing client base, administering contracts, liaising with clients on various matters and responding to queries.Develop relationships with customers to promote new offerings, and regularly call/visit to discuss requirements and maximise business opportunities.Identify and generate leads through networking, cold-calling, marketing and events.Manage the sales cycle from inception to execution, with sound qualification process, objection handling, and negotiation tactics.Responsible for negotiating, renewing and retaining business from year to year.Successfully demonstrates sound weather knowledge and demonstrations of MetDesk’s Weather SaaS & API data product portfolio.Presenting to prospective and existing clients (face to face and online)Create informative promotional content for social mediaMaintain a healthy sales pipeline, keeping the CRM updated and generating management reports. The PersonAn understanding of how weather impacts businesses/organisations worldwideTarget driven and motivated individual with a can-do attitude, and the ability to work unsupervised as part of a close teamAbility to identify, develop and close sales opportunitiesAn active listener capable of managing expectations effectivelyExcellent written and verbal communicator in English.
