Job role: Creative Lead Reporting to: Creative Director Department: Creative Location: Hybrid / Leeds About the job: As a Creative Lead, you will play a key role in initiating and driving creative projects through to completion. You will work closely with the creative director. mentor team members and delegating when appropriate to elevate the creative offering at The Onlii. This position involves crafting compelling campaigns and visual narratives to a high standard. Creating with a ‘concept first’ approach across brand, content, stills and motion and design in the retail sector, while upholding the company's commitment to sustainability and strategic excellence. As a key member of the creative team, you will champion team development, have business awareness, and be proactive with team development and creative upskilling. You will encourage a collaborative and proactive environment that ensures creative excellence and aligns seamlessly with the company’s strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Creative Leadership: Spearhead creative strategies and concepts that effectively communicate client’s brand ethos, particularly in the retail sector. Lead the creative phases of campaigns from concept through to completion. Project Contribution: Supported by the Creative Director you will take a leading role in the development of campaigns, ensuring alignment with the target audience and the company’s sustainability values. Team Development: Mentor and develop the creative team members, promoting a culture of innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Collaborative Teamwork: Partner with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive and innovative solutions. Offer input and support to cross-functional project teams as needed. Brand Advocate: Ensure all creative work reinforces the client’s brand strategy, staying fresh, innovative, and aligned with brand guidelines. Professional Development: Pursue continuous professional growth to stay at the forefront of design trends, particularly in the retail industry. Person specification: Skills Proven ability to lead and inspire creative team members. Strong strategic and conceptual skills with a deep understanding of brand development, particularly in retail. The ability to execute and design concepts to the highest standards. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating creative vision and engaging both clients and team members. Strong ownership of process and quality with the ability to delegate and manage time well. Expertise in design principles and creative execution, with the ability to deliver visually compelling work. Adept at using Adobe Creative Suite Strong communication skills to articulate creative concepts and collaborate effectively across teams. Experience Minimum of 7 years in a creative role within an agency environment. Experience in the retail sector, with a successful track record of developing compelling creative campaigns. Proven experience in an agency setting, demonstrating capability in high-level creative execution. Experience working under the guidance of the Creative Director, contributing to successful campaigns.
