Configuration Support Engineer – Desford, LeicestershireInitial 12-Month ContractRate: Competitive, DOEPE Global is currently recruiting for a Configuration Support Engineer for our industry-leading client based in Desford, Leicestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of mobile construction equipment within a highly respected organisation. The position is offered on an initial 12-month contract.The Role:As a Configuration Support Engineer, you will support both current and new product configurations. This includes maintaining engineering master models and bills of material, as well as supporting the implementation of design changes. You’ll be part of a dynamic technical team within the Building Construction Products Division, playing a vital role in engineering process improvement and product development activities.Key Responsibilities:Review engineering change data and documentation to ensure alignment with change management proceduresCoordinate and communicate product changes with engineering, sales, marketing, supply chain, and manufacturing teamsPrepare and manage configuration documentation to support product development initiativesAssist in corporate engineering systems and continuous process improvement projectsKey Requirements:Experience in change control processes and proceduresProficiency in Teamcenter (engineering data management) and Creo (3D CAD) systemsStrong attention to detail and accuracyEffective analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesExcellent teamwork and communication skills within global, cross-functional teamsA proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and feedbackPreferred Experience:Prior engineering experience within a mobile construction equipment or similar manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with product development systems and processesRight to Work: PE Global cannot offer sponsorship.
