Test Technician, Aerospace, Engineering COR7135This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Test Technician to join the Manufacturing Assembly, Integration and Testing team of a highly-successful company at the forefront of Aerospace innovation in a newly-created role.The RoleThe Test Technician will test products across my client's product portfolio, for mechanical and thermal sub-system and system level functionality, safety, capabilities and performance. This will involve assembling test setups and conducting electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, thermal vacuum and vibration testing in accordance with established test protocols.Benefits:Flexible benefits with an allowance to spend on the benefits that are of value to you!28 days holiday4% pension contributionShare optionsWhat do I need?Demonstrative experience as Test Technician ideally in a regulated industry (Space, Nuclear, Aerospace, Automotive)Experience of environmental testing within a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of testing equipment, specifically – Thermal vacuum chambers, thermal chamber, laser scanner, tensile pull tester, etc.To be proficient in test procedures and protocolsReport writing and document analysis skillsKnowledge of RF vector analyser, and data loggers (including thermocouples, accelerometers) Modal testing and photogrammetry would be advantageousThe list above is important, but not as important as hiring the right person!
