Our mission is to help you deliver visible benefits to your business and end users.We close the gap between your expectations of business transformation and the reality of what gets delivered, whether that is technology, process, or people change.This role is the ideal opportunity for a qualified accountant, with 5-10 years of operational and Finance Transformation experience, you will also have implemented SaaS solutions for Finance, preferably Oracle.As a Senior Finance Transformation Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding and challenging existing client processes and ways of working. You will lead workshops, facilitate key decisions, support with vendor selection and guide the client through the implementation and adoption of new technology. You will understand, not only how to get the most from SaaS technology across many Finance areas, but you will understand how to make the transformation successful from a business perspective. This role is a blend of stakeholder and project management, solution and process design and change management with a focus on supporting Finance teams and the wider business through their transformation journey.Description of role:Advise clients on Finance service design and operating model changes resulting from technology and automation deployment.Act as assurance partner for the CoA/ES/EDM design squad.Support delivery of design deliverables including Common Service Data Model (CSDM).Lead workshops, facilitate decision-making, and support vendor selection.Develop transformation roadmaps and implementation plans.Provide subject matter expertise in the deployment of finance technology from functional, organisational, and change perspectives.Guide clients through design of automation and technology solutions aligned to strategic design principles.Map and document finance processes, especially in R2R.Support broader R2R and reporting design efforts across multiple design squads.Identify and mitigate risks related to technology implementation.Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solution alignment with business requirements.Facilitate adoption of new ways of working across Finance teams.Contribute to internal improvement initiatives within Finance CommunityWe're looking for people who haveQualified accountant (minimum 1 year PQE preferred).5–10 years of operational and Finance Transformation experience.Strong R2R functional knowledge.Experience with CoA and/or Oracle EDMCS highly desirable.Experience in implementing SaaS finance solutions (Oracle, Workday, SAP).Financial or management accounting background is a plus.Familiarity with UK Government reporting (OSCAR, HMT, GFF) beneficial.Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.Proven ability to lead transformation workstreams and deliver tangible outcomes.Mayflower is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
