Consultant – Energy & Carbon Brighouse, West Yorkshire Full-time | PermanentAre you an experienced professional in the energy sector looking to make a real impact in carbon reduction and sustainability? Or a graduate with exposure in the industry?We’re looking for a driven Consultant to join our growing team in Brighouse, working at the cutting edge of energy modelling, data analysis, and net-zero strategy development.After the first few months, this role will be more hybrid, put primarily office based to start.Your RoleAs an Energy & Carbon Consultant, you will support clients in delivering sustainable, compliant, and cost-effective energy solutions through:Developing and delivering energy models using tools such as SYSTAD or similar systemsCreating and interpreting reporting tools for energy and carbon performanceSupporting energy audits, carbon reduction plans, and compliance reporting (SECR, ESOS, Net Zero)Collaborating on the design and implementation of data-led sustainability strategiesWhat We’re Looking ForProven experience in the energy or sustainability sectorStrong understanding of energy systems, modelling, and analysisHands-on experience with reporting platforms (e.g. Excel, Power BI, or bespoke tools)Comfortable working with complex datasets and communicating insights to clientsPassion for driving change in carbon reduction and energy efficiencyDesirable SkillsExperience with SYSTAD or similar energy modelling softwareKnowledge of carbon accounting frameworks and energy legislationAbility to work independently as well as part of a collaborative teamConsulting experience is a strong advantage
