With operations in commercial aircraft, helicopters, defense systems, and space exploration, Client employs over 130,000 people worldwide.Job Title: Satellite AIT Electrical Systems EngineerLocation: Stevenage UKDuration: 12 months (possible extension)Work Type: Onsite Job Description :We are seeking an experienced Satellite AIT Electrical Systems Engineer to support test preparation, execution, and debugging activities on spacecraft systems during ambient and environmental test campaigns. This position involves close collaboration with project stakeholders, contributing to reviews and resolving non-conformances.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret test specifications and define test solutionsDevelop, debug, and execute automated test procedures using CCS (Central Checkout System)Provide first-line support for test teams and fault investigationsParticipate in Test Readiness Reviews, Post Test Reviews, and NRBs (Non-Conformance Review Boards)Prepare test documentation including reports and proceduresSupport functional and performance testing during environmental phases (TVAC, EMC, magnetic)Ensure adherence to cleanroom protocols and company standardsPreferred Industry BackgroundSpaceAerospaceCommunicationsHigh-Tech ManufacturingQualificationsDegree in Electrical Engineering or related field5+ years of relevant experience in spacecraft, aerospace, or high-tech systems engineeringSkills & Experience RequiredProven experience with spacecraft systems testing and debuggingHands-on with Central Checkout System (CCS), ideally with knowledge of Elisa and JavaFamiliar with TMTC Databases and Spacecraft Subsystems (e.g. 1553, SpaceWire, AOCS, FDIR)Proficient in scripting (bash, C, Java, Python, TCL, or VBA preferred)Competence in using electrical test equipment (e.g. DMM, oscilloscopes, data bus analyzers)Background in fault investigation and environmental test campaignsExperience preparing test documentation and supporting test reviewsTekWissen® Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
