Your new companyWe are pleased to be supporting a multi-billion-dollar turnover business in the technology space as they recruit a Procurement Commodity Manager for 6 months. This business is undergoing a large system transformation which multiple team members globally will be seconded onto. This in turn opens up the Commodity Manager role for at least 6 months.Your new roleIn this role you will be responsible for the commodity strategy and execution of their direct components that go into their hardware manufacturing. This business has global manufacturing sites which are wholly owned.You will effectively drive procurement KPIS such as savings, spend and inventory aligned to these commodity areas.In addition to this, a large part of your role will be to effectively partner with your internal stakeholders and external suppliers on ESG matters that can be affected across the supply chain.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will be able to work autonomously and have strong communication skills. Ideally, you will come from a similar background and be able to drive commodity strategies globally. As this is an urgent requirement, you will be able to start by early July. This role is predominantly home-based, but some travel may be required for occasional team meetings.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will partner with a global brand and have the chance to extend beyond the initial 6- month period.
