Harvey Sutton is currently working with a Big4 client looking to appoint a Mobility Compensation & Payroll Senior Consultant (Manager) for their Global Compensation team. This team specialises in providing tailored global payroll solutions to a wide range of clients, assisting them in mitigating risks associated with their mobile workforce. Some key responsibilities of this role will include:Compensation data collection and analysis for tax and social security complianceSupport with expat payroll management, by leveraging our cutting-edge technology solutionsUK expatriate payroll delivery, including modified Appx 6 /NI Only/ Appx 8/ Appx 5 FTC schemesPerforming payroll data validations, including variance analysis to identify high risk areas for clientsMonitoring adherence to internal global mobility policiesTotal cost reporting and advising clients on potential cost savingsManaging/mentoring junior members of the teamRequirements for this role:Previous experience of working in global compensation/expatriate management (ideally from a consulting background)Able to work with a client focused approachExperience of managing complex datasets, ideally relating to compensation data for mobile employeesUnderstanding of UK payroll compliance including RTI, Apprenticeship Levy, Employment Allowance, EPS, and FPS requirementsUnderstanding of expatriate tax technical knowledge including expatriate reliefs such as Temporary Workplace Relief, Overseas Workdays Relief, Home Leave, relocation, bonus sourcing etcExperience of working on multiple and large client payroll processingAbility to self-manage day to day responsibilitiesProactive approach to identifying issues and finding effective solutionsAbility to adopt a team approach and build rapport with both the client team and internal colleaguesA willingness to continuously learn and develop technical knowledgeIdeally educated to degree levelThis is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading consulting firm, offering competitive pay, car cash allowance and hybrid working.
