Customer excellence and ‘doing the right thing’ is the backbone to our business ethos, which means that our talented people, high-tech systems, and robust processes are all central to our continued success.The VacancyOur Finance Hub, based at Airport West Business Park are looking to recruit an additional Client Money Manager to manage and lead a team of I-Rec Accounts Administrators.This is a broad and dynamic role requiring regular engagement with senior stakeholders across existing entities, as well as oversight of client money integration for newly acquired businesses, ensuring full compliance with FCA regulations at all times.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage both Central and Local I-Rec team members with a clear focus on reducing outstanding transactions to insurers. Performance will be measured and tracked against clearly defined KPIs.Monitor and report any identified CASS breaches via our compliance platform. Ensure all breaches are thoroughly investigated, resolved, and formally closed in a timely manner, proposing and implementing process improvements where necessary.Collaborate closely with the Finance Director (Regulatory and Client) to support all matters related to team performance, regulatory compliance, and process optimisation.Ensuring all KPI’s are achieved and are attained compliantly with FCA regulation.To report on the monthly performance of the Central & Local i-rec Teams using appropriate metrics for measurementEnsure client money is handled and reconciled in accordance with FCA regulation and internal procedures, as detailed in the Compliance Manual.Ensure full compliance in relation to all financial requirements, complaints, training and competence.Report any potential breaches, including weaknesses in current systems, to the Finance Director (Regulatory & Client)Ensure personal data (client and employee) is secure, held and properly utilised in accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act.Manage appropriately the Central & Local i-rec team members via ledger reviews, 1:1’s, appraisals and regular team meetings. Recruitment interviews and appropriate recommendations as the team scales in size. Reporting any concerns affecting Team and Insurer account relationship to Finance Director (Regulatory & Client)Provide consistent training to all team members covering levels 1-2-3 competency reviews for new recruits for capability and probation assessment.Additional DutiesDeveloping methods and tools to ensure maximum efficiency of processesCreating reporting metrics to measure the effectiveness of the systems in use including use of PowerBi and producing monthly reporting updates for the senior stakeholders of the business.Obtaining and analysing feedback from users and reporting to senior team where appropriateOverseeing testing and implementation of in-house and external reconciliation software solutions - specifically as we onboard ARC CGI for I-RecWorking closely with the ARC CGI team and Group Client Money Managers to map, implement and maintain the I-Rec processTrain staff on how to use updated systemsBe a significant point of contact for external CASS auditors for systems demonstration and control process and oversee the completion of actions identified.Develop internal audit process requirements to ensure robust controls and reviews are implemented with documented feedback for local and central team members.
