Yorkshire Talent Partners are proud to be working with a leading name in UK manufacturing, supporting their search for a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day maintenance activities across a fast-paced site, playing a key role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational excellence across production, packaging, services, and facilities.Why This Role?Well established, stable and supportive teamMixture of proactive and reactive maintenance workMixture of high speed manufacturing lines and heavy industryProject opportunitiesOvertime Available25 days holiday plus Bank HolidaysPension scheme up to 7% employer contributionWhat You’ll Be DoingDelivering high-quality reactive and planned maintenance support across the site with a bias towards electrical.Working Days and Afters.Responding to breakdowns and performance issues quickly and effectivelyProactively monitoring equipment performance and identifying opportunities for improvementSupporting the development and execution of the asset care and preventative maintenance planCollaborating closely with production and packaging teams to optimise line performanceUsing the site’s Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to schedule and document workWorking within a strong culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvementActing as a positive, visible role model for high standards and professional behavioursTaking personal ownership of workload and projects, showing initiative and pride in your workWhat We’re Looking ForTime-served engineering apprenticeship (or equivalent)City & Guilds ONC/BTEC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a front-line maintenance role, ideally in an FMCG or manufacturing environmentExperience of Siemens S7 desirableStrong understanding of electro-mechanical systems including motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyor systemsExperience working with CMMS and planned maintenance schedulesComfortable working within H&S frameworks (LOLER, PUWER, COSHH, PTW, etc.)An organised, proactive individual who thrives in a busy, hands-on environmentA confident communicator who can build strong relationships across teamsWhat You’ll BringA methodical and solutions-focused approachA commitment to continuous improvement and learningA flexible attitude – open to change, shift flexibility, and going the extra mileA team player with a customer-first mindset and a strong work ethicReady to roll up your sleeves and make a difference?Apply today or get in touch with the Yorkshire Talent Partners team to find out more.
