Food Development Manager West Sussex 50,000 -60,000 A new role with an innovation-led food business where your expertise in developing winning products will shine. As Food Development Manager here youll be creating delicious and healthy new product ranges for major retail and food service customers. Youll be joining a successful, established food business with a great portfolio of products and solid customer base. This is a newly created role in the NPD Team as business continues to grow. Using your culinary knowledge and expertise in spotting upcoming trends, youll be creating innovative new products that consumers love. This is a customer facing NPD Manager role, where youll manage NPD & EPD projects from concept to launch. Youll be supported by the wider NPD, Chef, Process and Technical Teams. They have a busy innovation pipeline with regular product launches and youll lead key high profile projects with major customers. Youll provide support and mentoring to the team. Youll also work closely with the head of department on the NPD strategy development and implementation. To succeed here youll need a proven track record in delivering successful product launches into retail. Excellent project management skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. It would suit an ambitious Food Developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. A foodie who loves seeing their concepts land on the supermarket shelves. This is a full-time role which is predominantly site-based with some travel to visit customers involved. Youll need a driving licence and the permanent right to work in the UK.
