Your responsibilities will include:Data Management & Analysis: Collect, clean, and structure large datasets to track spending trends.Database Creation: Develop and maintain a structured database to map exactly what is being spent and how.Hypothesis Testing: Identify potential areas for cost reduction and systematically test different strategies.Financial Modelling: Assist in evaluating in-house versus external sourcing options to optimise expenditures.Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with suppliers and end users to understand the purpose and necessity of different expenditures.Strategic Insights: Support the team in making recommendations based on data-driven insights.Who We Are Looking For:We are looking for a smart, ambitious, and analytical individual who is eager to apply their skills in a real-world business environment. While prior work experience is not required, some exposure to working with data and problem-solving is beneficial.Minimum Qualifications:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Mathematics, Science, Economics, Data Science, or similar).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to handle large datasets.Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel essential; SQL, Python, R, or similar advantageous).A structured and systematic approach to tackling complex problems.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.Creativity and curiosity to explore multiple hypotheses and find innovative solutions.
