This is a key leadership role that oversees the coordination and delivery of clinical trial activities across our site(s). Youll play a central role in ensuring trial excellence, patient safety, and regulatory compliance from feasibility through to close-out.As a Research Nurse, youll also support site-level operational management including vendor coordination, recruitment planning, and contributing to new site development. Youll work closely with internal and external stakeholders - including PIs, sponsors, and auditors - to drive operational success in line with GCP and regulatory standards.What will the role entail?Leading clinical research delivery from study start-up to close-out in accordance with ICH-GCP and local regulationsCoordinating and performing clinical procedures including consent, phlebotomy, ECGs, medication administration, and monitoring visitsSupporting the development and implementation of recruitment strategies and ensuring study targets are metMaintaining high-quality trial documentation, data integrity, and adherence to protocolsManaging internal training for clinical staff and supporting junior team membersParticipating in regulatory inspections, audits, and CAPA implementationSupporting wider site operations including budget planning, vendor coordination, and clinical resourcingCollaborating with site leadership on the development and fit-out of new clinical spacesUpholding Clerkenwells values and advocating for patients, the site team, and study partnersWhat will you need to succeed?Registered Nurse with current NMC licenseExtensive experience delivering CTIMPs and non-CTIMPs in a clinical research settingFormal training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP)In-depth knowledge of clinical trial regulations (MHRA, GDPR, REC)Strong leadership, mentoring, and team coordination skillsExceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple studiesExcellent communication and relationship-building capabilitiesPrior experience in mental health or CNS research is highly desirableAbility to support site management responsibilities including planning, budgets, and vendor oversightInterview ProcessThere will be an initial screening call with the recruiter, followed by a one or two-stage interview process with the hiring team.Is this the role for you?At Clerkenwell Health, our core values are Compassion, Collaboration, Innovation, and Integrity.
