Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Wincanton who are actively looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.What you will be doing:Mechanical service, repair, replacement of: Motors, gearboxes, couplings, seals, pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.Electrical service, repair, replacement of: Motors, sensors, valves, control gear, VSDs, servos, instrumentation, power distribution systems, safety systems etc.Evaluate and improve the installations and to increase plant availability, quality and safety.What you will need to succeed:Previous experience working in FMCG and Packaging machineryUnderstanding of Electrical & Mechanical schematics diagrams.Knowledge of different types of maintenance methodology; PPM, CBM, PM, TBMRecognised engineering apprenticeship or HNC/HND in Engineering with 5 years minimum experience in a reactive production environment.What you will receive in return:44,933.20 per annum + company bonusWeekend overtime availableMonday - Thursday 6-2 & 2-10, Friday 6-1 & 1-8 (39 hours)No NightsWhat you need to do next:If this position sounds of interest and you would like to be considered.
