Contract: 6 months, potential for extension/permanentRole Overview:We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team in Fareham. The primary focus of this role is manual turning, swagging, and universal grinding while ensuring high-quality precision work.Key Responsibilities:? Manual turning with tight tolerances using a lathe? Additional machining tasks and intricate work as required? Second operation activities such as deburring? Housekeeping, Lean 6S , and maintenance activitiesWhat We're Looking For:? Apprentice-trained manual machinist or ONC (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering? Ability to work independently on manual lathes and swagging techniques? Proficient in reading engineering drawings and inspecting own work?
