Role: Assistant Site ManagerMake sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.Location: South West BarnstapleReward & Benefits: Competitive salary, company car or car allowance options, site bonus scheme and excellent company benefitsAbout the roleWe're looking for an Assistant Site Manager for our South West region to help oversee our development in Barnstaple.Using specified drawings and instructions, the Assistant Site Manager will support the Site Manager with the entire construction cycle to ensure all deadlines are met and the development is built to Company and NHBC standards.Based on site and reporting to the Site Manager, you'll assist in managing all aspects of the building site, including health and safety issues, trades and material co-ordination, site presentation and cost control.The Assistant Site Manager will play a key role in ensuring the continued success of Churchill Living's desirable developments.Hours of work are between 7.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.The Assistant Site Manager is subject to call-out in the absence of the Site Manager, however this is infrequent. Also, once the development is completed, you will be moved to another site within the region.About youYou will have relevant previous site experience gained building Residential Apartments and New Homes. You will also be a qualified First Aider at Work and may have progressed from a trade background.You will hold a CSCS Card and be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Site Management, preferably on the NHBC Site Manager Accreditation programme.You'll be assertive and calm under pressure to meet numerous construction deadlines, whilst liaising with a wide range of external suppliers, specialists and in-house teams to achieve critical objectives, without compromising quality standards in any way.
