Robertson Recruitment are looking for a press brake operator would be willing to join our experienced manufacturing company based in Mansfield on a permanent basis. In this role you will be operating the machines on a daily basis. You may be expected to do other tasks in the machine shop too.All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.Working hours:Monday to Friday. 08:00am - 4:30pm.Responsibilities: Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets and components based on blueprints and technical drawingsSet up and adjust machine controls for speed, material thickness, bend angle, and toolingRead and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and production schedulesInspect parts for accuracy using measuring tools such as calipers, protractors, and gaugesPerform routine maintenance and cleaning of the press brake and toolingMonitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation, reporting any issues or malfunctions promptlyCollaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and meet production deadlinesFollow company safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)Maintain a clean and organized work areaSkills required: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsStrong understanding of metal types, thicknesses, and forming characteristicsFamiliarity with Amada, Cincinnati, Trumpf, or similar press brake brands is a plusProficient in using measurement tools to ensure precisionBasic math and mechanical skillsIf you are interested in this role please contact Dan on 07901 747296TPBN1_UKTJ
