We're actively recruiting for an experienced Technical Estimator to join our clients team based in Walsall.All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.Our client is a well established company operating within the fastener and machined components markets. PLEASE NOTE - previous experience within API compliant fastenings is essential.This office based role will be responsible for ensuring customer enquiries are accurately costed, ensuring client needs are met and margins are maintained.Other duties include:Working closely with sales colleagues to manage incoming enquiriesGenerate cost build ups using your in-depth knowledge of materials, manufacturing and testingInterpret technical drawings and provide advice to customers as requiredCreate and develop excellent supplier relationshipsStay ahead of market trends i.e. availability of main material grades etcTake a continual improvement approach in all areasExperience/Skills required:Previous experience in estimating API fasteners essentialAn excellent knowledge of manufacturing & testing processesThe ability to build rapport quickly with customers and suppliers alikeExcellent communication abilitiesWorking hours:Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00Friday 08:00-16:00Interviews are to be held as soon as possible so please apply now.TPBN1_UKTJ
