This position involves leading a team, managing stock and logistics, and ensuring high standards of safety and service.Ideal for a hands-on individual with strong leadership abilities and experience in a fast-paced, physical environment.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the receipt, handling, storage, and dispatch of goodsSupervise yard staff, ensuring productivity, safety, and high-quality serviceMonitor and manage stock levels to support inventory accuracyMaintain a safe, clean, and organised yard environmentDeliver a high standard of on-site customer serviceEnforce all relevant health and safety proceduresProvide performance updates and report on yard activitiesCandidate Requirements:Previous experience in a yard-based or supervisory roleStrong leadership, communication, and team management skillsFamiliarity with building materials is advantageousKnowledge and application of health and safety practicesValid counterbalance forklift licenceComfortable with physical work and machinery operationBasic computer skills, particularly for stock control and reportingFull UK driving licence may be required for the roleTPBN1_UKTJ
