Hazardous Area Installation Electrician 50,000 + Overtime + BenefitsLocation: Based near Chesterfield, Derbyshire (within 50 miles North or South preferred) UK-wide travel requiredAre you a CompEx-qualified Electrician with experience in hazardous areas? Were hiring a skilled Installation & Maintenance Electrician to join a growing engineering team delivering bespoke LPG refuelling stations and electrical systems across the UK. What Youll Be Doing:Building custom LPG refuelling systems at our Derbyshire-based manufacturing facilityInstalling new LPG/LNG plants and conducting electrical inspections nationwidePerforming rectification work, full plant upgrades, and off-site electrical assemblyWorking with hazardous area-rated equipment in a hands-on and dynamic environment What Youll Need:CompEx Modules EX01-EX04 (or IECEx equivalent)NVQ Level 3 or JIB Gold Card (Approved Electrician)18th Edition (BS7671:2018) & C&G 2391, 2391-52, or 2394 & 2395Experience with hazardous area electrical installations ideally in gas/petrochemical environmentsExcellent fault-finding skills and familiarity with control systems, drawings (P&IDs, schematics), and SWA cable installationsValid UK driving licence and willingness to travelDesirable: SSSTS/CCSNG, IPAF/PASMA, NICEIC reporting experience Salary: Up to 50,000 + overtime, travel & subsistence
