Job Title: Principle Endur Front Office BAJob Location: Remote or Canary WharfContract Length: Until 31st December 2025 (Possibility of extension)Industry: Power and GasWorking Hours: 8 per day / 40 per weekRole Overview:Endur Tech Engineer to work on Front and Mid Office elements for our Power Trading team. This role will be working in the power business relating to the trade and management of power generation assets, including wind, solar and batteries assets, but also CCG power stations. This team will be supporting the systems which enable the trading desks to make trading decision, execute trades and manage risk. They will also be implementing operating models to manage these assets; it will need to interface new systems and data feeds (national grid; power auctions; weather forecasts) into existing trading and risk management systems (ETRMs). Implementing these changes on the ETRM (Endur Openlink) will be the primary responsibility of this role.What you will have:Hands-on experience implementing and extending features in OpenLink EndurExperience working on Physical and Financial Power and Gas Markets.Ability to work independently as a BA lead and in a team supporting other BAs on projects.Experience working across all areas of the trading floor of Front/Mid/Back office but with a focus on Front and MidExpert in non-linear instruments in a Commodity/Energy Trading environment and how to represent them in Openlink Endur.Comfortable in liaising with both Traders and Quant developers on option pricing models ranging from standard option products through to complex cross-commodity physical options such as gas & power swing, tolling etcEndur configuration for Deal lifecycle, Confirmations, Settlement invoicing and schedulingA proven ability to solve problems creatively within a transparent change control mechanism.Understanding of Endur Reporting architecture, including understanding of core Risk simulation results and modules of Endur such as APM, TPM, DMS, Connex and EOD WorkflowsUnderstand Endur deployment procedures including CMM import/export and cloud DevOpsWorking with business analysts and traders to elaborate requirements, design and implement efficient application solutionsImplementing a test regime to ensure solution quality across the deliveryWorking with a hybrid team of delivery resources (internal & external); utilising scrum methodology where relevantStrong Communications skills with the ability to operate across complex business environments and stakeholders up to senior executive level.A strong familiarity with analytical software tools, methodologies, and best practices.Excellent analytical skills following a structured approach.Experience of agile delivery.Desirable Experience:Experience with Global power marketsExperience in complex contracts and power purchase agreement modelling (including deal modelling, deal valuation, data flows, deal lifecycle management including asset performance reporting)Experience in power asset optimisationExperience in power tolling agreements modellingWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
