The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quality management and possess extensive experience in the civil engineering or rail industry.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures across multiple civil engineering sitesConduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulationsIdentify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner to minimize project delaysCollaborate with project managers and staff to communicate quality objectives and provide necessary trainingAnalyse data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality performanceServe as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholdersStay up-to-date with industry best practices and incorporate relevant advancements into quality processesWhat we're looking for:A quality management qualification (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, ISO 9001) is requiredProven experience in quality assurance within the civil engineering or rail industryStrong understanding of quality standards and regulations applicable to civil engineering projectsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities to address quality issues effectivelyKnowledge of industry-specific software and tools for quality managementCommitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace
