The company is very successful and going through an exciting period of expansion. This has led to a need to grow their legal team.About the RoleThey are seeking to hire a qualified Lawyer to work closely with their General Counsel on the full range of legal issues that arise in an in-house role in a fast paced SaaS business. They are looking for candidates with a strong background in Commercial Contracts, adept at juggling competing high priority legal issues with a high degree of professionalism.ResponsibilitiesProviding legal advice and guidance to the senior leadership team and other company departments across a wide range of topics.Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.Ensuring compliance with industry regulations.Assistance with company secretarial matters.Participating in mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions.Developing and implementing legal strategies to protect the company's interests.QualificationsQualified in the UK as a solicitor or barrister, with a high standard of education.Required SkillsStrong background in reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.Preferred SkillsExperience of SaaS contracts advantageous, though not essential.Pay range and compensation packageThey are looking to pay around 65k + bonus and benefits. They work on a hybrid basis and this person will be expected to be in the office at least 2 days per week.
