Role: Contracts SpecialistSkills, Experience, Qualifications, If you have the right match for this opportunity, then make sure to apply today.Industry: Commodities TradingDomain: Coal & LNGLocation: London (hybrid - 3 days per week)Compensation: 70,000-75,000, 15-30% bonus, 10% pension and much moreX4 are partnered with one of London's fastest-growing commodity trading clients to hire a Contracts Specialist for their Legal, Compliance and Contracts team.As a major player in global LNG and coal markets, they enter contracts ranging from spot cargo transactions to complex structured deals, governed by Master, Long-Form or industry-standard contracts.In this role, the successful Contracts Specialist will oversee the full contracts management process for the physical coal and/or LNG business, covering deals originating in APAC, Europe and the USResponsibilities of the Contracts Specialist (Commodities):Draft and review contracts for physical coal and LNG deals, ensuring alignment with terms and guidelinesManage contract workflows from deal closure to signatureAssess counterparty amendments and advise Trading and Legal teams on risksReview bulk and LNG freight contractsLiaise closely with Legal on compliance and contract issuesRequirements for the Contracts Specialist (Commodities):3+ years' experience in Contracts for physical commodity tradingStrong contract drafting, review and negotiation skillsWell-versed in energy trading lifecycles, coal/LNG contracts, shipping terms and IncotermsDemonstrable ability to partner effectively with trading and legal teamsCompensation: Attractive packageincluding 70,000-75,000 salary, 15-30% bonus, 10% employer pension contribution, private medical/dental, life insurance, income protection and much more.Interview process: First round interviews are being scheduled for W/C 23rd June, with the full 3-stage process expected to conclude by early July.Please apply online for immediate consideration.
