Working closely with partners, youll manage cases from investigation through to resolutionwhether by negotiation, mediation, or litigation. Ideal for a solicitor with energy, commercial awareness, and a client-first mindset.Key Responsibilities:Lead a caseload of commercial litigation matters (e.g. contract disputes, shareholder issues, breach of warranty, professional negligence, debt recovery, property disputes)Develop and manage relationships with corporate clientsoffering clear, practical adviceDraft pleadings, statements, settlement agreements, and undertake legal researchAttend court hearings, mediations, and third-party meetings as requiredSupervise junior fee-earnersreview work, mentor trainees, and manage delegationMaintain high client care and business development standardsYour ProfileEssential:Qualified solicitor (SQE stage 2 or LPC+LPC route); admitted in England & WalesMinimum 5 years PQE with a strong commercial litigation backgroundExperience in court advocacy, ADR processes, and complex legal draftingRobust commercial awareness and able to advise across sectorsExcellent client communication and capable of managing expectationsProven leadership, delegation, and mentoring abilitiesDesirable:Experience in property litigation and/or professional negligenceExposure to international or cross-border commercial issuesA vested interest in building client relationships and contributing to firm growthWhats on OfferHighly competitive salary and discretionary bonus schemePeppered leave entitlement, plus accrued additional holiday daysHybrid working model, typically 23 days remote per weekGenerous CPD allowance; support in continuous professional developmentPension contributions and private healthcare packageSupportive, friendly and open workplace culture with genuine career opportunityPlease contact Owen owen.mullee@eclecticrecruitment.co.uk
