Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your input directly improves equipment reliability and customer satisfaction?We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our dedicated service and maintenance team. This vital role ensures that our plant and equipment are maintained to the highest standardsmaximising uptime, supporting safe operations, and delivering a best-in-class experience to our customers.________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment within the yard. This is primarily in our main depot in Rushden, however occasional travel to our Durham yard will be required. Ensure all service activities are accurately documented and meet ISO and Health & Safety standards. Take ownership of the quality of equipment leaving the yard, ensuring it is fit for purpose. Respond to breakdowns swiftlyboth in the yard and on-sitediagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently. When required, provide first-line technical support to internal teams (engineers, sales, office) and external customers. Maintain yard plant and oversee stock controladvising on parts requirements. Support the loading/unloading and safe storage of tower cranes. Deliver and assist with technical training and upskilling of team members.________________________________________ What Were Looking For Strong background in mechanical or electrical maintenance, ideally with heavy plant or construction equipment. Hands-on problem solver with a right-first-time mindset. Excellent communication skills with the ability to support internal and external stakeholders. Highly organised with a focus on quality and safety. Ability to work independently in a yard-based environment, with flexibility to attend site when needed.
