This is a unique opportunity to join a business poised for significant growth, where your expertise will directly impact their success.The OpportunityReporting directly to the MD and Founder, you'll take the helm of our client's entire operational lifecycle. This isn't just about managing it's about transforming, optimising, and scaling for explosive growth. From procurement and production to logistics and warehousing, you'll build a world-class supply chain and a high-performing operations team from the ground up.What You'll Be DoingStrategic Operations Management: Lead the exciting feasibility and implementation of a new, fit-for-purpose operational premises, including site identification, negotiations, and setup. You'll also conduct in-depth analysis for bringing key operations in-house.Cost Optimisation & Supply Chain: Spearhead initiatives to significantly reduce Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) through shrewd supplier negotiations, alternative sourcing, process efficiencies, and robust inventory control. You'll also elevate supplier relationships and performance with clear metrics.Forecasting & Stock Management: Implement robust forecasting models and systems that align seamlessly with sales, marketing, and retail expansion plans. Your goal will be to optimise working capital and virtually eliminate stockouts or overstocking.Team Building & Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and accountability.Financial & Commercial Acumen: Partner with the Finance team to manage departmental budgets, P&Ls, and capital investments, while identifying and implementing margin-enhancing operational initiatives across the entire value chain.Who We're Looking For:You're a commercially astute, hands-on operator with a strategic mindset and a proven track record of scaling operations within a fast-paced consumer goods business (ideally food, drink, supplements, or wellness).Essential Experience:Demonstrable success in cost reduction, supply chain optimisation, and operational transformation.Experience in securing new premises and leading facility buildouts or relocations.Strong team leadership and people development skills.Commercially savvy with significant P&L exposure and forecasting expertise.Desirable Experience:Exposure to e-commerce fulfilment and retail supply chain (e.g., Amazon, major retailers).Knowledge of regulatory compliance in food or supplements production.Previous experience in a high-growth or PE-backed environment.Personal Attributes:Data-driven and results-focused.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Energetic, ambitious, and genuinely excited by the challenges and rewards of a scale-up environment.PackageOur Client offers a competitive salary coupled with a performance bonus and the potential for equity participation (to be confirmed).
