Seasonal GardenersMake sure to apply quickly in order to maximise your chances of being considered for an interview Read the complete job description below.Manpower is looking for experienced seasonal Gardeners to work across spring and summer busy periods for a client based in Oxford.Details:Temporary full time work12.49 per hour depending one experienceOxford City Centre basedMust have experienceWorking hours : Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:00, Friday 07:30 - 12:00Responsibilities:Duties may include some of the following:General ground maintenance including sweeping and litter removal, mechanical and chemical weed control, ground clearance, manual and mechanical ground cultivation, chipping, shredding, and mulching.Pruning of shrubs, climbers and small trees.Border maintenance - cutting back, lifting, and dividing of perennial plants. Planting new material, staking, tying-in, dead-heading and watering.Turf maintenance - mowing using various types of machinery including pedestrian, cylinder and ride-on mowers, spiking, topdressing, over-seeding, turf lifting and laying, fertilising, weedkilling, strimming, and edging.Hedge maintenance - planting, pruning and cutting.Driving and routine maintenance of tractors and attachments.
