This is a critical role ensuring the continued efficiency and reliability of complex industrial systems and infrastructure.About the Role:Youll be responsible for managing all maintenance activities on-site, including oversight of industrial boilers , refrigeration units , air handling systems , compressed air systems , and other essential plant and auxiliary equipment. Your leadership will be vital in supporting service delivery and maintaining high standards of safety, performance, and reliability.What We Offer:25 days annual leaveAccess to our Peoples Pension SchemeFree physiotherapy servicesEmployee discounts on groceries, retail, and moreWellbeing resources to support your mental, physical, and financial healthOngoing training and career development to help you grow professionallyKey Responsibilities:Ensure full compliance with HSE and quality standards, including environmental incident reportingConduct root cause analysis and fault investigations; implement engineering solutionsMaintain inventory of essential spare parts and ensure accurate records in the CMMSDiagnose and repair faults on a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, motors, compressors)Carry out both planned preventative and reactive maintenanceSupervise contractors on site, ensuring performance aligns with agreed SLAsAct as the main point of contact for the customer on all maintenance mattersLead and implement site improvement and efficiency projectsAbout You:HNC/HND qualified (or equivalent certification from a recognised body)Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations NEBOSH qualification preferredIn-depth understanding of plant operations and computer-based maintenance systemsSignificant experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within industrial environments such as power generation, petrochemical, or waste-to-energy sectorsStrong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and pressure systemsProven leadership and supervisory experience, with strong communication and team collaboration skillsAnalytical mindset with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach to engineering challengesConfident using CMMS and general IT systems (email, spreadsheets, reporting tools)TPBN1_UKTJ
