But thats just one part of my storyIm fun-loving, sociable, and I love getting outdoors, shopping, attending day services, and having a good laugh with my support team. Keeping things upbeat and engaging is really important to me.Im looking for Support Workers to join my care teampeople who are calm, proactive, and bring a sense of structure and fun to my day. Youll be helping me live life to the fullest, supporting me with daily activities, personal care, mobility, and social outings. I use a wheelchair and am gastrostomy fed, so confidence in these areas is essential.Hours & PayApprox. 116 hours per 4-week cycle (avg. 29 hours/week)Flexible shifts can be shared by more than one personBank hours availablePay Rates:Pay Rate 1: 13.23 per hour, Monday to Friday days and Waking nightsPay Rate 2: 15.44 per hour, Weekend daysPay Rate 3: 17.64 per hour, Bank HolidaysNLW (Currently 12.21 p/h for age 21+), Weekday Sleeping Nights (11pm7am)NLW (Currently 12.21 p/h for age 21+) + 1, 13.21/hr Weekend Sleeping Nights (11pm7am)31.20 per shift On StandbyDriving & TravelYoull need your own car to get to work (rural location)Youll also be driving my adapted automatic vehicleUse of your own vehicle may be needed for trainingExperienceEssential:Experience supporting children/young adults with neuro disabilitiesDesirable:Qualifications or experience with severe disabilitiesOther InfoI live in a fully adapted family home with a separate carers entrance, room, and kitchenWe have a very friendly family dog (who does bark!)Interviews will be held as applications are received (via Microsoft Teams)Start Date: ASAP (subject to pre-employment checks)Our ValuesWere not just a care teamwere a values-led team.
