Term Time Only - 36 weeksNescot are recruiting Inclusion and Support officers to support students in the 14 16 Alternative Provision at Nescot who are attending Nescot on a short-term programme. You will enjoy working with young people many of whom will be experiencing barriers to their learning. A background of working with young people with special educational needs including SEMH is necessary.What we are looking for:Ability to work in a small teamAble to use your own initiative and make decisionsTo be adaptable to the needs of studentsGood organisation skills and confidence using IT for administrative tasksExperience of supporting students with special educational needs including SEMHGCSE or equivalent in Maths and English at grade C or above or evidence that you can support students to study at this levelDuties/responsibilities:In class support to students and act as an advocate for studentsHelp students develop student skills and grow their independenceContribute to monitoring of studentsBenefits:A discounted on-site gym, sports hall, fitness class, osteopathy and day nursery5-minute walk from Ewell East StationDiscounted Starbucks, Modern hair and beauty salon offering employee discountsFree online qualificationsFree parking on-siteNescot is graded Good by Ofstedfollowing its latest inspection in January 2023.
