Commercial Gas EngineerHave you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / HVAC Engineer (gas bias) to join one of the country's leading facilities management companies working in Reading, Hampshire and the surrounding region. Areas such as Basingstoke, Camberley, Windsor, Bracknell.The role will involve traveling around the region servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of commercial heating systems as well as some air conditioning and other associated HVAC plant. Experience working on 3 phase electrical supplies, AHUs, fan motors and/or pump sets will be highly beneficialKey Responsibilities:Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a number of sites.You will be the first line in all maintenance throughout your allocated sites.Ensuring that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date.Service and repair a range of mechanical equipment, e.g. boilers, fans, pumps, AHU's, FCU's etcSafe working practices in relation to 3 phase and single-phase electrics and applicationsCarry out surveys and complete reports as required by managementThe ideal candidate:Will have worked in a similar mobile role traveling around the region from home.Will have mechanical HVAC experience (pumps, motors etc.)Be able to deal directly with customers and on-site management teamsHave the ability to work at heights, work in confined spacesA hands-on, can-do and flexible approach to your workFull Driving License as this is a mobile rolePackage/SalaryBasic salary + standby payment = 50k 45hr weekCallout 1 in 4 weeksTravel time paid at overtime rate after first 30 minutes each wayOvertime 1.5x Monday - Friday 2x WeekendsCompany vehicle with private usePrivate healthcareLife insurance33 days holiday inclusive of banksQualifications / Experience:ACS Gas - COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1, TPCP1A - EssentialDesirable but not essential:City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Category 1City & Guilds 17th or 18th EditionCommercial Gas Engineer - ReadingCommercial Gas Engineer - ReadingCommercial Gas Engineer - BasingstokeCalibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their sex, race, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
