Youll bring hands-on expertise in CNC operation and programming, ideally from a joinery, set-building, or manufacturing background. A keen eye for detail, ability to meet tight deadlines, and a collaborative mindset are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram and operate CNC routers for scenic, staging, and bespoke componentsGenerate precise toolpaths from CAD drawingsPerform routine maintenance and machine setupPrepare, handle, and finish machined componentsIntegrate CNC parts into larger buildsMaintain tooling, equipment, and workshop areasConduct quality control to uphold high standardsAssist with stock management and material storageCollaborate across departments to meet project needsFollow all health & safety proceduresSupport other departments as neededIdeal Background:Proven CNC programming and operating experience (3-axis routers preferred)Proficient in CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360, VCarve)CAD experience (AutoCAD or Vectorworks) a plusKnowledge of materials: plywood, MDF, plastics, compositesHigh attention to detail and quality finishStrong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skillsReliable, punctual, and self-motivatedFull UK driving licence and own transport desirableWorking Hours:Monday to Friday, 08:30 17:30Holidays28 days annuallyExtra day off on/around birthday after 3 years serviceAdditional day after 5 years servicePensionCompany-contributed pension schemeBenefits (post-probation)Comprehensive private healthcare (including digital GP, mental health, advanced treatments)Optical, dental, and audiology coverEmployee Assistance ProgrammeSick pay schemeLong service rewardsEmployee of the MonthCompany social eventsCycle to Work SchemeElectric Vehicle SchemeTPBN1_UKTJ
