Job Description

The Site Performance & Production Monitoring Lead is responsible for supporting, coordinating, and monitoring the execution of daily construction activities within the Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG) scope of the HPC project. Reporting to the Performance Manager, the role ensures that works are performed in line with the validated short-term plan (Construction activities plan for the next 10 days Shift S+1) and that the necessary preparation and readiness conditions are met to maximise the execution productivity and performance on site.Is this the role you are looking for If so read on for more details, and make sure to apply today.The role is directly responsible for the preparation, coordination, and validation of the Shift S+1 Installation Plan, ensuring that building access, materials, documentation, and workforce resources are fully aligned. In parallel, the Site Performance & Production Monitoring Lead prepares and maintains a contingency _backup work_ plan to mitigate the risk of unforeseen blockers or constraints.The Site Performance & Production Monitoring Lead acts as a key interface between the field workforce (Black Hats, construction management) and the site team, ensuring effective coordination, accurate monitoring of production, timely resolution of site issues, and structured reporting to support project performance.Planning & Coordination Build the Shift S+1 Installation Plan through coordination with Construction Management and Supervision (Black Hats), Quality, and Site Engineering, taking into consideration::o Building restrictionso Material availabilityo Approved documentation (workpacks)o Workforce & resource availability Lead the Shift S+1 Validation Meeting and the Shift Kick-off Meeting. Contribute actively to the update of the 16WLA (long-term planning). Prepare and maintain a contingency backup work plan to mitigate unexpected blockers.2On-site Production Monitoring Conduct daily site walks to monitor installation execution and identify blockers (access, material, documentation, workforce issues). Actively engage and coordinate with Black Hats, Construction Managers, and site teams to resolve issues promptly and reduce productivity loss. Act as the guarantor that the workforce does not deviate from the validated Shift S+1 Plan without valid reasons. Prepare and maintain a contingency backup work plan to allow smooth continuity in the event of unforeseen blockers. Interface with Site Engineering and/or the Design Back Office to provide key inputs for resolving field-engineering issues/constraints.3Performance Analysis & Reporting Monitor and analyse:o Daily production output (planned vs. actual)o Lost time and root causeso Productivity trends and recurrent blockages Categorise blockers as internal or external:o For internal issues, identify whether they are one-off or systemic, propose and support solutions, and escalate persistent issues to management.o For external stoppages, liaise with the Contract Quantity Surveyor (QS) to ensure proper documentation and verify claimability to the client. Take the lead in producing the Onsite Construction Monthly Progress Report, ensuring accurate data and a clear, structured progress narrative.4Engineering & Technical Interface Interface directly with Site Engineering and Design Back Office (if necessary). Support the resolution of technical issues arising from the field.
