The role focuses on modifying and improving existing designs, ensuring products are cost-effective, manufacturable, and meet high technical standards.Main duties will includes? Production of accurate manufacturing drawings.? Production of full assembly drawings & parts lists from manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks? Modifications and revision of design drawings.? Aid production with troubleshooting and design improvements.? Preparing concept designs for new products.? Store and organise drawings, ensuring all information is accessible and up to date? Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.Qualifications/Experience? Experience in drawing office methods & practices? Good all round knowledge of 2D/3D CAD systems as well as Microsoft Office.? Experience with SolidWorks / SolidWorks PDM or similar CAD software.?
