The Estate has a team of maintenance, gardening, forestry and joinery employees that maintain the core estate and manage the beautiful surroundings which are on the edge of the River Fal. Working at Tregothnan is being part of Cornwalls heritage and its modern future.The RoleWe are seeking an Estate Gardener to join our friendly and established Garden team, working across two different sites on the outskirts of Truro.Duties include:- Strimming and brush cutting.- Weeding and weed control, including spraying.- Assisting in lawn care and mowing.- Path and drive maintenance and construction.- Watering plants.- Landscape construction.About YouYou will need:- Previous grounds maintenance and gardening experience, including strimming and brush cutting.- A positive attitude and a flexible approach to work.- A willingness to be hands-on in a physically demanding role and work in all weathers.- The ability to work safely.- The ability to work alone using initiative, as well as following instructions.- Good teamwork and communication skills.- A professional attitude, to be polite and have good levels of personal presentation.- A full UK driving licence and own transport to travel to/from work, as we are in a rural location with no access to public transport.Benefits- Salary: from 25,400 pa (depending on experience).- 21 days holiday, plus bank holidays.- Healthcare cash back plan.- Discount scheme with high street and online retailers.- Salary sacrifice homeware, tech and cycle to work schemes.TPBN1_UKTJ
