This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community, providing essential learning and emotional support to children with additional needs. The role is full-time and long-term, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities of an EYFS Level 2 Teaching Assistant: Providing 1:1 and small group interventions for pupils with special educational needsSupporting childrens learning and development in the classroom and during interventionsImplementing tailored strategies and resourcesAssisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and nurturing environmentPromoting positive behaviour and emotional regulationWorking closely with SENCOs, class teachers, and external professionals where requiredThe Ideal EYFS Level 2 Teaching Assistant Will Have: Experience working with children with SEND in a primary school or EYFS settingStrong communication and behaviour management skillsA patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to learning supportRelevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent experience)An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Availability for full-time, term-time work--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
