If so we may have the perfect job for you!If you are an individual who has a minimum of 6 months HGV experience, then this may be the opportunity for you!We are looking for individuals to join our team as a Class 1 Driver where you will join our national client at their site in Tewkesbury.Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.This is an ongoing position where our client is looking at taking those who get on well on permanently!What you will do:Delivering white goods of various sizes to our customer locationsUsing the tail lift, offload the goods from the trailer and support the customers in moving the item if requiredHandle multidrop deliveries, the number of stops each night do varyUsing sack barrow as required to offload the heavier items.Use a handheld scanner and complete all necessary paperwork.Communicate with customers on a face-to-face basis.Safely operate the delivery vehicle, adhering to business standards and protocols.Conduct thorough vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA regulations.Requirements:Strong communication skills and a positive demeanour are required for direct interaction with customers.HGV 1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.Ideally would have 6 months Class 1 experienceA valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.Multidrop delivery experience.Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.A can-do attitude.Pay, benefits and more:28 days paid holiday (Pro Rata)Access to Manpower Rewards (Discounts on adventure days)Access to the My Path upskilling programmePossible permanent opportunities for the right candidateWant to go perm, here's a few of the benefits this company offers:25 days holiday + Bank HolidaysHigh street discountsCycle to work schemeWorkplace pensionPlus, many others!Apply now and someone from the team will be in touch!TPBN1_UKTJ
