If so this job could be perfect for you. Working with an experienced team of engineers and technicians you will be supporting the production site to keep their machines running whilst supporting efficient and safe operations across the manufacturing site.Multi Skilled Engineer's Key Responsibilities:Carry out maintenance of factory equipment (both mechanical and electrical) in line with the routine maintenance scheduleContribute to PPM projects across the siteInstall and commission new equipment, working alongside the service manager to ensure machine downtime to kept to a minimumPerform equipment repairs as neededSupport and assist external contractors while on site.Skills & Experience Required as a Multi Skilled Engineer:Must have experience working within a manufacturing site as a maintenance engineer, breakdown engineer or PPM engineerNeed to have the ability to fault find on PLCs and perform basic electrical repairsAbility to work as part of a larger engineering team to support and develop other more junior engineers on ad hoc basisMust have the full right to work in the UKAbility to work on a rotating shift pattern to involve both night and day shiftsThis position is a full time permanent role based in Peterborough paying a base of 52,000 PA on a shift pattern of 3's and 2's mixture between days and nights.If this Multi Skilled Engineer sounds like a role that would match your skills and experience, we would love to hear from you and look forward to discussing your application in more detail.Anne Corder Recruitment Ltd acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and as an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
