Due to business growth, we are looking to recruit for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a leading engineering company in the field of bespoke material handling systems.In order to make an application, simply read through the following job description and make sure to attach relevant documents.The main purpose of the role is to provide design and development support for the control systems part of the business. You will be involved on full life cycle projects from client requirement through design, build, test, install and customer acceptance.The ideal candidate will be degree qualified to Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering with a demonstrable background in a similar role however those with a lesser qualification and experience will be considered. Ideally candidates will be experienced using AutoCAD ElectricalKnowledge of bespoke material handling systems teamed with Low Voltage motor speed control applications is needed for this role.Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be British Citizens and be able to obtain SC Clearance.Hours 37 hours per weekKey Responsibilities:Develop designs and specifications for control systems for individual projects.Co-ordinate site, application and design engineering resources to meet projects technical requirement.Ensure effective interface between design, production, procurement and site to optimise project costs and implementation.Develop a working understanding of Industry Standards.Manage technical content of projects with respect to cost, quality, contract documentation, specifications, etc.Manage engineering content of projects to budget (i.e. design hours, outsourcing, site labour, etc.)Manage the electrical engineering content of the above.Attend Customer sites when necessary.Liaise with customers engineering representatives.Any other duties as directed by the Engineering Manager which are within the Engineers capabilities.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelors or Masters Degree in ElectricalEngineering or related/equivalent subject.Demonstrable background in Electrical designof material handling systemsExperienced in use of AutoCAD ElectricalClear technical writing and good record keeping.Note: This vacancy is being advertised by Complete Talent Services Ltd who are acting as an Employment AgencyTPBN1_UKTJ
